My appoligies guys, I meant more along the lines of pulling a gooseneck trailer. I just want the 5 speed cause I want to run a relitivly small tire 35'' with 4.56 gears and that will help keep the rpm down while I drive the hwy.

Still wondering if the edelbrock fuel injection is the way to go or maybe just go with a newer drop out 8.1 liter with the allison behind it..... but then I have a wiring nightmare?? So still lots of ?????????
