I think I know what you're asking. There is no worry of the cab sagging after removing the inner piece. The outer structure is very stout. Also, you'll be "spotwelding" the replacement piece back onto the windshield frame, as the old piece was. Make sure to drill out the spotwelds from inside the cab and don't drill through the outer portion, if possible. I'll be on a business trip this week, so I'll answer further questions on Friday.
