I recently pulled out the torn-up rubber floormat and found the ignition KEYS including the locking gas cap, that the last owner couldn't find...worth alot to me! (I guess you can tell that the ol'66 hasn't moved since I got it)
I just removed the locking gas cap and pulled the gas tank and had it boiled out, radiator guy said the gas smelled at least 7-8 years old. Unlike whiskey, some things don't get better with age.
