Wow thanks for all the input. The truth is, I can't find a 2wd Burb or Blazer here in Colorado. And with gas prices and the economy I couldn't give away this big beast even with all the hunters, campers and 4x4 guys around here. My buddy that is helping me with all the work specializes in 67-72 restoration and even he can't locate a cheap one(2wd) anywhere near what I paid for mine. He has a 3/4 ton, big block, 2wd Burb that he won't sell for any price. He already shortened it and chopped it(looks incredible).
I already have every nut and bolt from a 2wd truck front end to convert it over to 2wd and I have another T350 tranny out of one of my buddies cars ready to go it the Burb too.
If anybody has a relatively nice 2wd and wants to contemplate a trade I'm all ears
I won't be hacking into the front end or suspension anytime soon so if a deal comes along the 4 wheel drive will still be intact for a while
