I took a measurement yesterday of the front drive shaft distance and it is approxiametly 30.25" from back of U-joint cup at the transfer case to back of opposite U-joint cup at the Dana 44 (deepest length). Now here's the thing though

; the cab, front clip, and transmission are not in the frame right now so I don't know how much more the frame will settle down and if that will change the length dramatically. The frame has a new 4" Tough Country spring lift on it so the springs are pretty stiff right now. From what I have read on this Board, the 'slipjoint' should allow for some variation in ride height?? Yes or No??
