I just pulled the 454 out of my 1960 GMC Sub 4x4...couldn't stand the 7-10 MPGs I was getting, going with a small block now. Anyhow, originally I put in a 427 many years ago, and I had to notch the frame on the passenger side for exhaust manifold clearance (stock exhaust manis). I also am running a married 465/205.
