Re: Thank you to those who serve

Thank you Liz, your heart is always in the right place. Thank you ALL for your support of the defenders of freedom. Thank you most sincerely to all my brothers and sisters who have answered the call to military service, past and present. As long as WE know why we do what we do, the world will ALWAYS be a better place for it. My kids have lived the better part of the last 2 years without their mother, Chief Master Sergeant Beverly Todd, and understand WHY. Before that, they did without their father, Master Sergeant Mike Todd, for 100+ days a year for 12+ years because he was an enlisted aviator and knew WHY it was important. I have been an Air Force reservist for 17+ years, and over 4 of those years have been spent DEPLOYED to mostly UN-FUN places wrapped in a 175,000 lb chunk of aluminum with an AMERICAN flag on the tail. So much for 1 weekend a month, huh? I salute ALL of you in ALL branches of the service, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves, because it is TRULY, ONE TEAM, ONE FIGHT, now more than ever. Have a proud and well deserved Veterans Day. Take care, Sgt. T
