The frames are shaped differently after 72 so the later 73-up bolt-on KP's cantilever 4-link kit won't 'bolt-on' a 72. It might work w/some fabrication, but prob not any less than just doing a 4-link kit anyway.
Check this link out & look @ the pics to see how he had to 'space' the front 4-bar mounts away from the frame because of the pre-72 frame shape.....
