Some door seals are better than others---softer---and they do not close so hard.
I just did window regulators in my truck. One rolls up & down really easy...the other goes down easy, but up is a bear! I don't know what is going on...maybe sprung/damaged door. Remember, "If it is reproduction, you are going to have to work with it to make it fit"!!!
