I just went out and looked at mine. I looks like you've got it pushed a little too far back.

OK, bear with me a bit while I try to describe it in detail. There is a plastic spacer between the curved metal bracket and the roof. In your photos, it appears that this plastic spacer is "hanging out" in the rear. The proper front-to-back alignment is that the front edge of the spacer is lined up square and flush with the front of the curved bracket. The rear edge is about 1/8" forward of the rear roof bend above the rain gutter. In other words, the rear of the plastic spacer is located at the rearmost portion of the flat part of the roof.

Of course, the left-right centering is self explanatory.
