Re: Electric Fans?

my '77 had a metal fan. You can go to the junkyard and get a nice fan out of an 80-90s ford, there's a ton of the mout there, and go t oadvance auto parts and get the hayden relay/probe kit for about $27. I got a couple dual fans fro ma bonneville, and made custome brackets, but thought it was overkill, so got a single big fan that draws about 20 amps. (the others drew about 18-20 each). now have to fab up new brackets. The downside on dual fans with our older vehicles is we don't have a lot of electricity to spare. So you'll have to consider an alternator upgrade as well. Jegs has the chrome 1 wire 100 amp on sale $20 off, for 99.99 (555-10100), or if you wanna go cheap, the black one (555-10120) is 89.99. remember, these old alternators only put out 67-72 amps. just my .02
