Crossover steering is usually used on a truck that has been lifted. With
size 36 or bigger tires it is needed to take out the bump steer. On the
truck I am building I have installed a 8" skyjacker lift kit and will be
using 36x15.50x15" mickey t. tires. I used a flat top spindle from
a chevy truck and a late model dodge pitman arm. All of the steering rods
are made using 1-1/4" solid stainless bar with 3/4" L&R hyme joints.
I will be using these wheels with the mickey t. mtz tires instead of the
claws that are on the wheels now.
