I used my 1/2 ton to pull another 1/2 ton couple of months ago... Pulled pretty good. Just make sure your brakes are good or else... Ihave a 350/350 combo in the red 71 and its bored 60 over. 100 mile trip on an 80 degree day at 60-70 mph did fine
