Wow, good thread, keep it goin, thanks for the info on teh shippign weightsm btw : shipping weights often dont include grease, oil in engine, oil in transmission, oil in the differential, fuel in the tank, water in the block etc!
If it was a 4x4 thatd be different, weight woudlnt matter, infact i would encourage ballast and or lots of weight for heavy duty parts.
Are the coilspring trucks heavier than their leafspring counterparts?
Is the wooden bed REALLY that heavy? I was thinking of putting thin diamondplate in for ****s and giggles...
