I recently bought an 82 with a 283. Came with a 305, but was pulled & a 454 put in. The guy I bought it from pulled the 454 & put the 283 in to pull his camper. What do you guys think about it? Not looking to burn up the streets, but would like to have a decent amount of power. It has about 500 miles on it. So I haven't really stretched it out yet. Gonna change the oil ( Castrol
) in it now. Gonna put Havoline in it.
