Sorry, should have added that step in more detail...
With a 67 truck, key in the ignition in the Off position, insert the end of a paperclip into the small hole in the face of the ignition cylinder (you should feel it press in with some resistence as you are compressing a spring in there), then turn the key to the left and gently wiggle it out.
With 68-72, everything is the same except instead of the Off postion, turn it to the ACC (accessory position) before inserting the paperclip....
