I don't think a lift ever looks right.
But that's just me. :p
As for the bed box, they were the same from the second series 55, up till '87. The fenders were the only thing that chainged. The '73 ones have the squared off wheel openings, and it just don't match the front openings...looks funny after you've noticed it.
