Since '76 was the first year of the partial removable top, this probably translates to no rocker boxes? In that case these tanks would be a good idea. If the '69-'72 tanks you are getting require modifing the rocker boxes you'll need to figure a way to put the strength and rigidity back in or you'll probably never be happy.
