Thanks for all the info guys! I just finished replaceing the oil and the pressure is back and runs great with the new carb. BTW i drained about 4 gallons of liquid out of the crankcase...there went 10 bucks of gas! O well.
does anyone have any info on what the tab may be on the end of the heads in the 3rd pic? Or how to find out if this motor was a crate engine? No numbers are visible. Also what would have been the idea behind haveing a stall converter be so tall in a 4wd like this? it starts moveing around 2200 but i think it is at least a 2400 stall.
