I would be careful with the alcohol on the circuit board, may not hurt it, but hate to find out the hard way. I use a pencil eraser to clean the contact surfaces in the cluster. The clusters are pretty much Murphy proof as far as how stuff fits in. Be careful with the mount tabs, they are easy to break.

Before you re-assemble it I would paint the interior with chrome paint and track down some 194 bulbs, makes all the difference in the world.
