The Circus Wagon is sadly no more. My friend bought it and his nature of selling cars got the best of him and he sold it. He DEEPLY regrets it. I was saddened further when a couple guys tracked me down at a New York Goodguys event to tell me they bought it. They were so proud that they had totally slicked it out and shaved everything including the driprails and it just made me sick. The DID NOT get the joke of what the Circus Wagon was. It was the ultimate ANTI-Show Truck. It did everything a truck was supposed to, hauled ass (even got 28-mpg with a 400hp big-block) and drew a crowd at any car event. Now the best they could hope for when they trailer it to an event is to take home a $10.00 trophy and get a couple people to notice their work. That truck was driven all over the country and people knew it as the Circus Wagon. I had copied the fun-loving spirit a few hot rodders who had built early beaters with and transferred it to a truck. It wasn't even for sale when my buddy bought it, but with a 3rd baby on the way I knew I need something that could hold 3 car seats. I miss it dearly. I'm glad the memory of it lives on- some magazine projects do not.
