I had one quote on my truck, for $5500. Went to another shop....got a quote/estimate of "about $20 (thousand)".

Production body shops don't like to work on older/antique/special interest vehicles. For that reason, they don't like to quote pricing. They don't want to have the vehicle blown apart in the shop, taking up valuable space that they can use to do a quicker repair job on someone's late model import.
