Its actually a very simple thing to hook up

The zbar has an end with a bolt in it that goes to the frame side, and the other side slides onto a ball on either the tranny housing, or the engine (dunno when they switched) Either way, you should have a bar that sticks up on the driver's side of the truck for the clutch pedal rod to hook up to, and a bar that sticks down on the other side that the rest of it hooks up to.

I'll need to try and hunt down some pics of how the bottom part hooks up, as it has been almost a year since I last looked at a z-bar linkage...
