When you look at it, there is a thin piece of metal that covers the end of the actual switch. If you get this off, the other piece will unscrew and come off. I drill out the center, grap the thin steel with a pair of pliers and pull it off. I've done it several times when I didn't have the key to turn it backwards and push the pin down to get it out. Of course, I then had to buy a new switch and key.
