howdy, just found the site, and I love the forum. Im looking to bombproof my burb in prep for an upcoming move while im making good $ and have good mechs. I'll be towing a trailer and im kinda worried about the stock motor. My mech friend has a 350 he wants to sell, and promises plenty of torque w/ rv cam. Question, does anyone have experience travelling rocky mt. roads pulling weight, and do you think a built 350 can handle it? Second, I want to take care of the rust thats developing along the bottom fenders and I would like to use original metal if I can, just because it's better than the new repop. Searching past threads shows that most stuff gets sucked up fast, but I might as well ask to see if anyone has any leads on metal or a liftgate. Thanks for any suggestions.
