to the best of my recollection, the 1971 and
FORWARD had disk brakes up front. The year 1970 had drum brakes from the factory, I think??
Any time you upgrade to disk brakes, in my opinion, you are improving the safety and performance of the vehicle. Just make sure you use the proper M.C., prop valve, and vacuum canister.
