Each type of bender has its own way of doing things, each brand may have a slightly different way to set things up to get the number of degrees you want in a bend. most will want you to make sure that you start at one end of the tube and work in one direction to the other end of the tube with the bender oriented the same for each bend. (sorry if thats confusing) anyway, check with the manufacturer of the tool for a web site or a video on how to get the results you want with their bender. hope that helps a little.
