My linkage is not like that last pic, twisted bracket style. Mine is straight and don't know if that makes a difference or not? Mentioning this because my linkage is at a wierd angle, binds up a little bit.
The truck was originally a 6cyl, now has a V8, what mouting location does the V8 need to be in on the franme? The front set of holes or the rear? Mine is on the front set, the HEI is about 2-3 inches from the firewall if that matters.
