No. It may mean that the turning resistance for the rear driveshaft is less than that for the far axle shaft. But it's likely you do.
Put one rear wheel on the ground, and the transmission (or transfer case, if you have one) in neutral. Then turn the off-the-ground wheel by hand. If you can't, you have a functioning Posi. If you can, you have either an open diff or a worn out Posi. You can't tell an open diff from a worn out Posi without removing the diff cover and inspecting the diff.
Note that if you have a 4x4, you have to either put the transfer case in neutral or raise the FRONT wheels, too.
