Good point.
Kind of interesting to think about the difference between stacking a 2:1 and 3:1 gearset in either order.
For instance: Does a 3:1 rangebox put more stress on a stock 205? Would you be better with a 2:1 rangebox and a stronger 3:1 gearset in the 205? or if you'd rather not twin-stick your 205, would you like 2:1 or 3:1 2wd low from the rangebox?
All pretty academic to me since I moved and decided to restore my '72, but interesting to think about nonetheless ....
