1967K/30: I would suggest an Offy intake instead of the Clifford. The Offy is reputed to be better at low RPMs and low end torque as you find in trail running, the Clifford intake is more designed to flow better at high RPMs, such as one encounters when dragging a 1/4 mile. Clifford headers do rule however. I'm still using a pair I bought in 1978 on my '68 Stepside. Second engine, some repairs -- resectioned crushed #5 downtube, resurfaced intake flange, but more or less the same pipes.
I use an Offy intake, Edelbrock 500 CFM 1404 Carb, and Clifford headers on my 292.
