I used the DCC line (Delton Concept Color) from PPG. I used a SATA digital HVLP gun. After working with a few body men who painted single stage every day of their career, I also picked up a few pointers and used them in this process. One such trick was to turn the booth temp down from about 74 to about 65 while painting, I was told this would assist in the paint laying out smoothly. I also turned the pressure at the gun down 2 lbs from recommended. Now keep in mind that you will then have to be very carefull not to flood and run. Being a student, I don't have all the answers, but it worked for me. I guess if you live in a warm climate, you will have to turn up the air conditioning to get it cooler, but here in MN, just turn down the heat lol.
