I have an old Martin (Dearborn off brand) space hater that was given to me. It's hooked up to a 7 gal RV propane bottle I obtained from a friend who owns an RV dealership. The bottle was old so I got it free. I did have to buy the pressure regulator which was $6. One bottle full costs about $12 and lasts a long time.
With a whopping $18 invested in my heating system, it's lite enough that I can move it to where ever I'm working so I don't have to heat the entire 3400 sqft shop.

3400 sq. ft.????????? Dang that is big. Mine is 1200 and I thought I had a good size place. Once I put the heat in mine I am going to use 220V Ceiling mount heaters. Cheaper than running 110V jobs.
