Yeah,17`s ok.It`s only 1/2" more than a 16.5.The whole idea of tall wheel/low profile tire is a road racing concept so light`n`low sports cars will have less side deflection when crankin`out the "G"s on a curve at 150+ mph.For a 4wd,the needs are completely unrelated.You want sidewalls for cushion and flex.That`s performance to an off-road vehicle that`s heavy`n`high.
