My new shop is getting a permanent heater called a Hot Dawg heater. It is around the $2000.00 (canadian) mark installed but is well worth it. It doesn't have a standing pilot light, is low profile and is SAFE. Plus we sell and install them at my company. The wifes single car garage is getting a 35,000 btu direct vent heater to keep her and the baby warm. Unfortunately the dog doesn't come with the heater.
