As long as you don't get in a hurry and be patient, you'll find a good deal eventually. After 8 months of hard looking with NO luck, I found my '85 about 80 miles from my house. It had 6k miles on rebuilt 355, rebuilt m22 tranny and rebuilt 10 bolt w/3.42's, P.O. put brand new brakes(calipers, pads, rotors, drums....everything) all the way around and had receipts for EVERYTHING done to the truck including the rebuild. Body is in great shape, just light surface rust behind the rear quarters, a pea sized hole in passenger door and two bondo bubbles on drivers door. Picked it up for $1500.
Keep your eyes open man, something will pop up!!
