4 speeds forever!

Nice looking truck ya have there, and, yes, you can swap to a car type 4 speed. It's a direct bolt-in. You can let it hang (I did, for a while, untill I found a rear crossmember). The shifter I use, is a Hurst from a 57 chevy, it fits real good. Most Muncies have the speedo cable outlet on the passenger side of the tailshaft housing, making the stock speedo cable too short. I use a cable from a 1975 Monte Carlo, the length and cable ends are perfect. Oh, the rear crossmember I am using was from a 1972 C-10 with TH 350 trans. You don't have to run the rear crossmember, but it looks more secure if you do.
