I generally figure a complete restore/rebuild for any american car to be ~$25K USD assuming you're not doing anything crazy (i.e., daily driver). Add another 8-10K for a really hot or unusual engine, and another 6-8K for mondo paint. I spent about $40K US on my first Corvette restoration, and it was NOT to "Gold" standards by any means...which I figure would have been another $20K+
