She has been in a local shop for about 3 weeks getting the following done:

1. rebuilt heads/compression check
2. new head/valve cover/exhaust header gaskets
3. new wires
4. new Edelbrock 600cfm carb
5. new Edelbrock cruise control kit
6. removal of unneeded vacuum lines (the cats and smog pump have been removed long ago)
7. engine tuning
8. new heater hoses

I am very excited!

Can anyone offer some pointers on things to look for after such an invasive overhaul? I understand mechanics, but I am no wrench.
