Re: Greetings!
Each of those car are my dad's and what he has collected through his life. He drove all those Vettes before he parked them to restore. The 56 he had to park because he had to sell the motor to pay for him and my mom's honeymoon back in 73. He always told me, "Never get married with a muscle car."
The 67 Vette has had the frame all redone and needs bodywork. My dad has a brand new number's matching block waiting to go in there.
The 68 Vette was owned by my uncle until the head cracked. It has been sitting since 74 without an engine.
My dad used to own a 63 split window coupe. I know!!!!!! I can't believe he got rid of it. I think it would have killed him if he had kept it though. It was bright yellow and people still kept running into him (mostly old ladies). He got tired of fixing the body on it so he sold it. He used to tell me he'd go to the drag strip and rev the motor to 6,000 RPMs and dump the clutch. He said it literally jumped off the line.
Hopefully I'll get some pics posted here soon.
