I just bought a beater 75 model truck myself. I ordered the drop spindles to fit my truck, and combined with all the 75 model brake stuff, I have disc brakes for very cheap price.

thanks for the info! This sounds like a good alternative to buying a disc brake conversion kit. This is definitely going on the to do list.
