I didn't brace anything but did mount doors on before welding rockers to check for fit.
I do the floor supports last as they bolt up to the inner rockers which is part of the floor panel so it needed to be in first.

cool!, thanks for the tips. what if I make a mock door out of square tube? then I would be able to see inside and work through it.
