You are correct.
Seems we have been with the metric tire sizing forever. Then I see these questons and gets me backto my youthful days.
I remember when the letter sizng was first getting big. They were still trying to force it on us in the mid 70's. Of course I loved my Mickey Thompons N50 x14s. About the time we all got use to it, we went with those new fangled metrics
