If it is flooding, try taking a screwdriver handle or wooden hammer handle and give the body of the carb at the fuel inlet a few "moderate" taps. Sometimes when they sit, and/or bad gas, dirt gets between the needle and seat. If the tapping doesn't free it up, then you may need to pop the top off of the carb and clean it out.
