As has been said, there are a bunch of great parts there. Coming from a position of no sentimental attachement, long steps are not very desirable and I love stepsides as you can see in my avatar. My point is this, sinking big bucks into restoring a long step would have to be done for sentimental reasons and not investment reasons. Personally, I would find a decent 67/68 short wheel base truck and transfer all of the cool stuff to it.
