I'd think about turn downs PAST the rear axle. This is not ideal, but will look OK. Actually, I like where you have it the way you have it as the best spot, but aesthetically it is lacking with your flat bed... NEVER point exhaust straight out the back in a 4x4 (any truck IMO) when you get it in the mud and you have to slam it forward and backwards to get out, you pack the exhaust full of mud and water, killing the motor. Snow applies here as well. "Real 4x4 don't run chrome baloneys" Also, straight out the back will make a sooty mess of your trailer or your load if you have a flat bed. Do you have enough room to run between the shackle reversal and the trailer hitch?
