you guys are lucky. to modify the 250 in my 79 i have to get a whole new head. (mine has intigral head and intake) I might do that somedays tho. As far as the open headers thing, its gotta be louder than regular exhaust manifolds. i just got the pipe going to where the muffler hooks up, but without the muffler. sounds aaight' but not loud
