I'm getting 17+ running around town loaded with work gear. (500/600 lbs always in the bed)
Allways seem to be pulling something whenever I run a full tank on the highway so I can't say there.
You'll only be turning around 2K @ 70 mph.
FYI, all Duramax trucks have 3:73's.
