The 4x4 kit has nothing to do with the rear leaf springs verses coils. It has everything to do with the center, straight down factory exhaust manifold on the 4x4 verses the angled back ones on the 2wd.
I bought the 4x4 kit for my 4x4. The only thing that wasn't in the kit was a hanger for the side of my truck that didn't come with a hanger. Single exhaust trucks only had a hanger on one side. You can get a factory hanger for the other side if you are putting together a 100 point restoration. Otherwise I'd get a generic one at NAPA like I did.
Why buy the kit without mufflers?
