I always cringe when I see an old Chevy/GMC cut into a trailer. I drive past a 60-66 chevy trailer almost daily and the box is in great shape. It makes me wonder if back in the day someone cut up what would be a perfect project truck today just to make a trailer.
On the other hand, I talked to a wrecker once that loved to cut up chevy trucks because he could sell the trailer for the price he paid for the whole truck and still had the driveline left over and any other parts he could sell.
